Hello and Welcome to Fun Munchkin!

My name is Candice Slowik Perlin, and I am an illustrator of children's art, a teacher, and a Mommy.  I earned my masters degree in Early Childhood Education and taught at a private preschool in Manhattan for four years before launching Fun Munchkin.

I grew up in London, where I spent most of my time riding my bike, digging for worms, and eating delicious chocolates with my best friends. I then moved around the globe a bit before settling down in NYC five years ago. Creating bright, happy pictures with friendly faces is one of the things I love to do most. I am a lover of animals, big and small, which you will see depicted throughout my artwork. I hope you enjoy what you see!
